Our research has revealed that electric cars will soon become truly mainstream, with increased range that will better compete with today’s internal combustion engine vehicles. This can be done with either higher-density batteries or supercapacitors.
Supercapacitors will have improved energy density to surpass the 300-mile range that current electric vehicles provide. Furthermore, research has shown that supercapacitators are more energy-dense than lithium-ion batteries, holding 180 watt-hours per kilogram compared with 100-120 watt-hours of that conventional lithium-ion values possess.
We believe this is the future of electric cars and are currently active in the delivery of the new prototypes.
